Bob Ross technique is what we are learning so anyone who wants to join our happy group please call me to be put on the list.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one  hand, martini in the  other, body thoroughly  used up, totally worn out     and screaming           “WOO HOO, what a ride!!”

 What’s New?

Has anyone heard of Candlearing???? It is a unique way of cleaning the wax out of your ears without any pain or discomfort.  It is done with a candle like hollow tube made in a spiral fashion, with a tapered tip.  The question of “How does it work” seems to get a variety of answers, depending on who you ask.  Some explanations use the notion of a chimney like action or the concept of an updraft from warm air meeting cooler air in the hollow chamber.  The spiral shape of “capillary action” is often included in an explanation.  Candlears have been likened to a “venturi-tube or valve” - a short tube used to measure flow or air speed.   The veracity of these or other explanations is left up to the individual. But, from the thousands of folks who claim to enjoy positive results from Candlearing, you may hear “I don’t know exactly how it works but it sure does work for me”.   We are lucky enough to have a person in the Glenboro area who actually has been using Candlearing for many years and is willing to give us a demonstration if anyone is interested.  Just call 204-827-2444 for more info.

We have something for everyone: Antiques, crafts, paintings, greeting cards & gifts for every season and every reason, home made sweaters & baby clothes and accessories, wellness home products, & made in Manitoba foods.  I will also do baking, noodles, or bread for any one who wants them.  Delivery is included call for pricing.  Will do special occasions.  I am hoping to have fresh vegetables in the summer.

ANTIQUES - If you have antiques that you want to sell I will consign them if I have room or if you have a picture, I will put it on my bulletin board.  If you are looking for something special, please let me know.  I might know where you can find it.

·         There will also be tour packages for those who want something different on a rainy day or don’t know the area and want to see something new.
