Did you ever wonder how to get congratulatory messages for a member of
your family or a friend that are celebrating a special birthday? The Greetings Branch of the Manitoba Legislative Assembly is the
central office for all congratulatory messages. You can contact the
Greetings Branch toll free at 1-800-282-8069 for information about which
birthdays and anniversaries are eligible to receive congratulatory
messages.
It even easier online...., go to http://www.gov.mb.ca/legislature/greeting/
At this site, there is a form to complete and submit on-line for greetings
from Canadian government officials. There is also a spot to indicate
you want greetings from the Queen, and you need to fax the appropriate
information.
…Messages from mayors and reeves may be arranged by contacting their
respective offices. Religious messages may be arranged through your local
clergy. The Greetings Branch also supplies phone numbers for messages from
the Pope.
