Glenboro Golf and Country Club
This golfing facility is a superb nine-hole course situated a half-mile west and a mile and a half north of Glenboro.  The course is well known for its excellent condition and irrigated fairways and greens.  The layout is perfectly suited for golfers of all ages and abilities.  The Golf Club has a thriving Junior, Adult and Senior program and hosts many fun and competitive tournaments throughout the season.  The Clubhouse is a large, modern licensed facility complete with snack bar.  Club and cart rentals are available as well.  For more information call the Clubhouse directly at 827-2856 or check out the website at www.golfglenboro.ca

Glenboro Arena and Curling Club
These modern facilities are both equipped with artificial ice-making plants.  Activities begin each year approximately the third week of October and continue until March.  A major Bonspiel on eight sheets of ice is staged  annually the end of March.  Five Baseball diamonds, a harness racing track, an air-conditioned hall, and two playgrounds round out the local facilities.

Raystone Memorial Centre
The local Senior's Centre is located in downtown Glenboro.  Raystone is equipped with pool tables, shuffleboard, and card tables, all of which are used on a daily basis.  The Drop-In Centre is an important recreational and social part of this vibrant community.


Gaiety Theatre
One of a dying breed in small town Canada.  The Theatre has had extensive renovations completed in recent years and movies are shown every Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights beginning at 8:00 p.m.  Ticket prices: Adult - $5.00; Student - $4.00; Child - $3.00.

 



Trail Rides
Dusty Mile Outfitters: Enjoy scenic trail rides, riding lessons and campfire "get-togethers." Located 1 mile south of Spruce Woods Provincial Park on highway #5. Email Tanya or call (204)827-2735 for more information or to book.  

 

 Library Services
The first branch Library for the Region was established in the back of the Village Office in 1964.  In 1976 when the Manitoba Telephone System automated, the Village of Glenboro purchased and refurbished the building and moved the Library to its' present location on 105 Broadway Street.  The Glenboro/South Cypress Library is open four days per week, Tuesday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  Jackie Steele, Librarian, can be reached during these hours at 827-2874.
