COVID-19 Closures, Procedures and Precautions


  • We request that all business transactions with the Municipality of Glenboro South Cypress be conducted, if possible, via:

  • Municipality of Glenboro South Cypress Public Works Shops – Closed to the Public
  • Glenboro and Treesbank Halls – Closed
  • Glenboro Theatre – Closed
  • Glenboro Arena and Curling Club – Closed
  • Fire Hall – Closed to the Public
  • Glenboro Museum – Closed

Please notify the Office if you are elderly or are in the most at-risk segment of the population, and have no supports in place. If you have family members within the Municipality that you are unable to assist, please inform our office.


  • Avoid physical contact, such as handshakes
  • Practice proper hand washing procedures, thoroughly washing for at least 20 seconds
  • Practice proper cough and sneeze etiquette, cover your mouth with your arm, if you use a tissue, dispose of it ASAP and wash your hands
  • Use social distancing in your day to day lives, keeping 2 meters distance whenever possible
  • Do not gather in groups of more than 50 people
  • Do not go out unless you have to
  • Disinfect frequently touched surfaces multiple times throughout the day
  • If you feel ill, stay home and self-isolate, do the online self-assessment if you are able, or call Health Links at 1-888-315-9257
  • If you have been out of the country, or may have come in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, stay home and self-isolate for 14 days
  • Avoid any non-essential travel
