7.1 (New Business) A discussion was held on exploring the idea of
providing training assistance for trades people. Chris and Robert are to
gather information from other communities that may be implementing
assistance.
A discussion was also held on the Community Works Loan Program. It was
decided that perhaps the citizens of Glenboro and the surrounding area need
to be reminded that this program still exists.
- Moving of the "Events" sign: It was decided, that while the
sign by the highway serves its purpose, the sign would better serve the
people of Glenboro if it were re-located to a downtown site. An exact
location will be decided upon in the near future.
- Annual Meeting Review: It was a very positive meeting and all that
attended enjoyed themselves immensely. Cheques totaling $1,750.00 were
given to the Ladybug Foundation. This included the sales of all bracelets

donation box at the AGM. A discussion was held on ideas for next years
meeting.
- Glenboro Agricultural Day: This was held at the Community Hall on March
21, 2007 and was the first year the GCDC was directly involved.
Approximately 25 to 30 people attended in the morning with more in the
afternoon. There were 11 informational booths set up and a wonderful lunch
provided by the Ag Society and sponsored by the Westoba Credit Union.
