called to order at 7:00 pm. 2.
Approval of Minutes from Mar 18th, 2009

Giselle Lussier - The Zone - A thank you for CWLP loan approval

Carried 5. Old Business 5.1 Town Signs A budget of
$300 was designated for landscaping around the Glenboro sign west of town.

Naismith and Curtis are working on putting up Glenboro sign to the East of town. 5.2 Tables at Hall A work
party will be held to check wooden tables and do repairs if necessary. 5.3 Hometown Manitoba - Applied
for a $1000 grant for bronze sign to be placed by Sara 5.4 Manitoba Homecoming 2010
A preliminary meeting will be held in May. 5.5 EMT Training The five
trainees are close to completion. A
final bill and a recommendation of future funding will be sent to Council. 5.6 Chuck Wagon Races The
GCDC will help where needed but it will be up to another group to be in charge
of the organizing of this event. 5.7 Hall Committee Bingo -
Saturday, May 30th 2009. - Curtis will assist Moray in putting
together a work party for this bingo. 6. New Business 6.1
Souvenirs The GCDC will order more Coffee Mugs with an up to date
picture of Sara on them. The
GCDC will purchase 1000 Camel Buttons at the price of $470.00 including tax.

Carried 7. Committee Reports 7.1 Properties: A
Water Softener will be installed at the Hall.
An application was made for a grant from the RM for $500 to put towards
this project. A
$100.00 damage deposit will be collected on all Hall Rentals for Socials.

Carried 7.2 Business and Industry: Have not met. 7.3 Museum:
Have
changed all the exhibits around downstairs.
Will be hosting a celebration for May 12, Manitoba Day with people coming
in to speak or play different roll for Grades 3 to 6 inclusive.
The Museum will be honouring Don Steeles family this year. 8.
Date of Next Meeting: May 20th, 2009.
