"Perilous Journey" - Peter Sawatzky's new bronze casting, commissioned by the City of Selkirk, was placed in the city's newly restored waterfront on July 1, 2003. The piece is a compilation of 300 individual castings welded together and is a replica of one of the many supply ships that used to carry supplies from the Hudson's Bay Company to areas as far north as York Factory.
