Air: A Municipal Airport is located in the R.M. of
South Cypress at Section 5, Township 7, Range 14 approximately 1.5 miles west of
Glenboro. The longest runway is approximately 1.6 km in length. The
nearest commercial airport is located in Brandon, 80 km northwest of Glenboro.
Railway: The Canadian Pacific Railway (CPR) runs
through the Village and R.M. South Cypress servicing the area.
Freight Carriers: Many companies offer freight carrier
services to the Village of Glenboro and the Rural Municipality of South
Cypress. Local freight carriers include Earle's Transfer, Purolater, Loomis
and CanPar. Regional services are carried out by Earle's
Transfer. Freight having to travel inter-provincially from Glenboro
includes Earle's Transfer, Smooth Movers, Greyhound and Grey Goose
Bus Services. Finally, Earle's Transfer and Smooth Movers serve
Glenboro and Area residents who require bulk commodity freight services.
Glenboro Community Public Transit: The Handi-Van services
