#7560 J. S. Hamilton – L. J. Berry RESOLVED that the minutes of the
last regular meeting of Council held on Tuesday June 13th, 2006 be
taken as read and approved, all statutory requirements having been fulfilled. #7561
L. E. Coates – W. J. Mooney RESOLVED that the Council of the Rural
Municipality of South Cypress give first reading to By-Law #1799 (vis-à-vis
firefighting agreement with the Rural Municipality of Victoria). #7562
L. J. Berry – J. S. Hamilton RESOLVED that the Council of the Rural
Municipality of South Cypress give first reading to By-Law #1800 (vis-à-vis
firefighting agreement with the Village of Wawanesa). #7563 W. R. Cullen – L. J. Berry RESOLVED
that the Council of the Rural Municipality of South Cypress give first reading
to By-Law #1801 (vis-à-vis firefighting agreement with the Rural Municipality
of Argyle). #7564 L. J. Berry – W. R. Cullen RESOLVED that the Council of the Rural
Municipality of South Cypress accept and approve the audited Financial Statement
and Supplementary Audit Report for the Rural Municipality of South Cypress, for
fiscal year ending December 31, 2005, as prepared and submitted by the chartered
accounting firm of BDO Dunwoody of Winnipeg, Manitoba. #7565
L. E. Coates – W. J. Mooney RESOLVED that the Council of the Rural
Municipality of South Cypress authorize the payment of fiscal year 2006 accounts
from cheque #3549 to and including cheque #3612, as submitted to Council by the

Cullen RESOLVED that the Council of the Rural Municipality of South Cypress authorize Millshof Colony Farms to bury 6” irrigation water pipelines under the Municipal road between the NW of Section 15 and the NE of Section 16 and the Municipal road between the NW of Section 15 and the SW of Section 22 all in Township 7, Range 15W1, AND FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED that all
necessary work and materials be the responsibility of the applicant with the
completed installation to meet the approval of the Ward Councillor. “carried” #7567
W. J. Mooney – J. S. Hamilton RESOLVED that the Council of the Rural
Municipality of South Cypress approve a payment of $12,000.00 to the
Glenboro–South Cypress Weed Control District as an advance for the custom
spraying of noxious weeds on Municipal roads, which is being carried out this

L. J. Berry – W. R. Cullen RESOLVED that the Council of the Rural
Municipality of South Cypress award a Municipal Grant in the amount of $347.00
in favour of the Cypress River Chamber of Commerce as support with their 2006
Community Park Maintenance and Promotion Activities. “carried” #7569 J. S. Hamilton – L. J. Berry RESOLVED
that the Council of the Rural Municipality of South Cypress authorize Reeve Earl
Malyon to attend the Manitoba Emergency Measures Organization’s 2006 Disaster
Management Conference, which is to be held in Brandon, Manitoba on November 15
– 17, 2006. “carried”
RESOLVED that the Council of the Rural
Municipality of South Cypress accept the June 15, 2006 auditing services
proposal submitted by BDO Dunwoody of Winnipeg, Manitoba and accordingly
reappoint the said chartered accounting firm as the official auditor for the
Rural Municipality of South Cypress for the fiscal years 2006, 2007, and 2008 at
the fees specified in their June 15, 2006 services proposal. “carried” #7571
W. R. Cullen – J. S. Hamilton RESOLVED that the application for plan of subdivision of land described as follows: Being part of the SE ¼ of Section
6, Township 8, Range 15W1, as shown on a drawing and being attached to an
application for subdivision file #14-4187-06-4214 and being submitted by Kerry
and Arlene Dubyts, be hereby tabled by the Council of the Rural Municipality of
South Cypress. “carried” #7572
W. R. Cullen – L. J. Berry WHEREAS “Agriculture in the
Classroom–Manitoba Inc.” is a non-profit organization dedicated to
delivering curriculum-based programs to Manitoba Schools to help teach the
importance of agriculture in our Province. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the
Council of the Rural Municipality of South Cypress support “Agriculture in the
Classroom–Manitoba Inc.” by renewing its membership with the said
organization at the supporter level of $150.00 for the year 2006. “carried” #7573
L. E. Coates – W. R. Cullen RESOLVED that the Council of the Rural Municipality of South Cypress confirm a reservation with PLACE LOUIS RIEL ALL-SUITE HOTEL of Winnipeg, Manitoba for a total of 7 standard one bedroom suites, which will be required by Council Members and the CAO in conjunction with their attendance of the A.M.M. Annual Convention to be held in Winnipeg, Manitoba on November 27–30, 2006. “carried” #7574 W. J. Mooney – L. J. Berry RESOLVED that the Council of the Rural
Municipality of South Cypress do now adjourn @ 11:55 a.m. to convene again at
the next regular meeting scheduled for Tuesday, August 8th, 2006 at
9:00 a.m. “carried”
