On the afternoon of April 8, 2020, Carberry RCMP were notified about several incidences that had occurred overnight at three rural properties off Highway 5, roughly three miles north of Glenboro. RCMP investigated and determined that at least two suspects had trespassed on these properties, breaking into a garage on one of them, and stealing a yellow 2011 Can Am Outlander ATV from another. RCMP believes the suspects may have included at least one male and one female.

On the morning of April 9, 2020, Carberry RCMP were notified about several incidences that had occurred overnight in the Town of Carberry. RCMP investigated and determined that several thefts took place, which included wallets being stolen from two parked vehicles, one on Young Street and the other on Main Street. A theft also occurred from a garage located at a residence on Young Street. In all these cases, the cars and garage had been left unlocked.

On the afternoon of April 10, 2020, Carberry RCMP were notified that an orange Chevy Camaro was stolen out of a garage located at residence on Young Street. RCMP believe it occurred the same night all the other incidences in Carberry occurred. The garage door had been unlocked and the keys were in the vehicle.

Police are reminding everyone to take all necessary precautions to protect their vehicles and properties. Police are advising residents to not leave valuables in their vehicles, and to remember to always lock and secure all vehicles, garages, and residences. Police would like to encourage residents to immediately report any suspicious activity observed, including any suspicious persons or vehicles, at any time.

Police continue to investigate and are asking for the public’s help in identifying any suspects related to these Break and Enters and Thefts. Anyone with information on these matters are urged to contact Blue Hills RCMP – Carberry Detachment at (204) 834-2905.
