Minutes of the Inaugural and First meeting of the 2003/2004 Council of the Rural Municipality of South Cypress held in the Municipal Council Chambers at 618 Railway Ave., Glenboro, Manitoba on Tuesday, November 12, 2003 at 9:00 a.m.

Present at the Meeting, Reeve Earl E. Malyon, Councillors Leonard J. Berry, John S. Hamilton, Lloyd E. Coates, W. Jack Mooney, Walter R. Cullen and Chief Administrative Officer, Eric Plaetinck.

Reeve Earl E. Malyon, in the chair, called the meeting to order at 9:01 a.m.

AND FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED that Council allow Mr. Johnson to utilize unused vacation time, accumulated bank time and 20% of his banked sick leave days to bridge his last day of work (about December 5, 2003) up to his official termination date (February 5, 2004).

RESOLVED that the Council of the Rural Municipality of South Cypress contract the services of Mr. W. J. Outhwaite of Stockton, Manitoba to clean out snow from the back lanes in the Hamlet of Stockton during the 2003/2004 Winter with a 950 Loader, on an "as required" basis and at the rate of $ 80.00 per hour plus G.S.T.;

Conditions of the Contract are:

That the required snow clearing be completed within a reasonable period of time after a snowfall/snow drifting.

That billing for any such work is submitted to the R. M. immediately after each time such work is completed.

That it is estimated that the normal clean out of all back lanes in Stockton will take approximately 1 hour of said loader time for each complete cleaning.
