Present at the Meeting, Reeve Earl E. Malyon, Councillors Leonard J. Berry, John S. Hamilton, W. Jack Mooney, Walter R. Cullen, and Chief Administrative Officer, Eric Plaetinck and Assistant CAO, Darren Myers. Reeve Earl E. Malyon, presiding, called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m. During the meeting, at the time indicated, Council met with the following delegations. Edwin Berry } Municipal Equipment Operators’
#7353 J. S. Hamilton – W. J. Mooney RESOLVED that the minutes of the last regular meeting of Council held on Tuesday August 9, 2005 be taken as read and approved, all statutory requirements having been fulfilled. "carried"
#7354 W. J. Mooney – W. R. Cullen RESOLVED that the Council of the Rural Municipality of South Cypress authorize the payment of fiscal year 2005 accounts from cheque #2900 to and including cheque #2964, as submitted to Council by the Municipal Administrator. "carried"
#7355 W. R. Cullen – W. J. Mooney RESOLVED that the Council of the Rural Municipality of South Cypress authorize the reconstruction of a drainage and approach at the intersection of the Municipal road with a private access onto Lot 1; Plan 2008 in the N.E ¼ of Section 17-8-16 W; AND FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED that the total costs associated with all necessary work required in this project including a new 50’ long x 36’ diameter steel culvert be shared equally between the Municipality and the respective landowner. "carried"
#7356 W. J. Mooney – L. J. Berry RESOLVED that the Property Assessments as listed under Schedule "B" be added to the R. M. of South Cypress’ 2005 Assessment Roll under the Authority of Section 321(1) of the Municipal Act; AND FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED that the additional taxes thereon as set out in Schedule "C" be added to their respective property within the Rural Municipality of South Cypress, as added taxes for Year 2005 under the Authority of Section 321(1) of the Municipal Act. "carried"
#7357 L. J. Berry – J. S. Hamilton RESOLVED that the Council of the Rural Municipality of South Cypress authorize all Council Members and Equipment Operators to attend the Brandt Tractor Ltd. John Deere D Series Grader Demonstration, which is to be held in Winnipeg, Manitoba on Thursday October 6th, 2005. "carried"
#7358 W. J. Mooney – W. R. Cullen RESOLVED that the Council of the Rural Municipality of South Cypress authorize Councillor John S. Hamilton to attend the 26th Annual Provincial Recreation Conference for Community Volunteers, which will be held in Brandon, Manitoba on November 4th – 6th, 2005 "carried"
#7359 L. J. Berry – W. R. Cullen RESOLVED that the Council of the Village of Glenboro authorize Reeve Earl E. Malyon to attend a Wheat Belt Community Futures Development Corporation, Rural and Northern Health and the Assiniboine RHA hosted meeting regarding Rural Physician Recruitment and Retention, which is to be held in Brandon, Manitoba on Wednesday October 19th, 2005. "carried"

Berry RESOLVED that the Council of the Rural Municipality of South Cypress authorize a Municipal Administrative Staff member to attend the Manitoba Municipal Administrators Association District 2 Meeting, which is to be held at Morden, Manitoba on Friday, September 30, 2005. "carried"
#7361 J. S. Hamilton – L. J. Berry RESOLVED that the Council of the Rural Municipality of South Cypress do now adjourn @ 2:10 p.m., to convene again at the next regular meeting scheduled for Tuesday, October 11, 2005 at 9:00 a.m. "carried"
