Notice was given in conformity with
Section 145(2) of The Municipal Act. Present at the Meeting, Reeve Earl E.
Malyon, Councillors Leonard J. Berry, John S. Hamilton, Lloyd E. Coates, Leonard
K. Plett, Walter R. Cullen and Chief Administrative Officer, Eric Plaetinck. Reeve Earl E. Malyon, presiding, called
the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m.
The Meeting was called to deal with the following matters: 1.
Setting and adopting the Municipal Budgeted Operating Expenditures for
fiscal year 2010. 2.
Setting and adopting of the Municipal 5 Year Capital Expenditure Program. A detailed analysis of each and every individual revenue and expenditure account of the Municipality was undertaken by the Council and the Chief Administrative Officer, throughout the course of the day’s meeting, with an estimated amount set for each account for fiscal year 2010. Upon conclusion of same Council agreed that a Municipal Financial Plan for the fiscal year 2010 will be presented at a public meeting on Tuesday April 13th, 2010 at 11:30 a.m., which will reflect a total 2010 Municipal mill rate of 10.74 mills, a reduction of 3.1 mills from the 2009 Municipal mill rate. RESOLVED that the Council of the Rural Municipality of South Cypress do now adjourn @ 12:25 p.m., to convene again at the next regular meeting scheduled for Tuesday, April 13th, 2010 at 8:30 a.m. |
