Minutes of a “Special Meeting” of the 2009/2010 Council of the Rural Municipality of South Cypress held in the Municipal Council Chambers at 618 Railway Avenue, Glenboro, Manitoba on Monday July 19th, 2010 at 7:30 p.m. Notice was given in conformity with Section 145(2) of The Municipal Act. Present at the meeting, Reeve Earl E. Malyon, Councillors Leonard J. Berry, John S. Hamilton, Walter R. Cullen and Chief Administrative Officer, Eric Plaetinck. Regrets Leonard K. Plett and Lloyd Coates
The following people were in attendance for the duration of the meeting:
Terry Pearce, Manager Provincial Planning – Brandon Regional Office John McEntee, Secretary-Treasurer/Development Officer – Cypress Planning District
Bryan Ward, Planning Consultant – Winnipeg
Ralph Oliver – Councillor – R. M. of North Cypress
William Shackel – Mayor – Village of Glenboro
Wayne Davidson – Councillor – Village of Glenboro
Reeve Earl E. Malyon, presiding, called the meeting to order at 7:30 a.m.
The Meeting was called to deal with the following matter: With
the assistance of Bryan Ward, Terry Pearce and John McEntee, plus input from the
Village of Glenboro Council representatives, the Council of the Rural
Municipality of South Cypress reviewed proposed amendments to its current zoning
by-law, as detailed in proposed Municipal By-Law #1835, in conjunction with the
new livestock policy and other changes that have been recently incorporated into
the Cypress Planning District’s Development Plan. Upon
conclusion of its comprehensive assessment and consideration of such amendments,
Council decided to defer giving first reading to said By-law #1835, until the
August 10th, 2010 Council Meeting. RESOLVED
that the Council of the Rural Municipality of South Cypress do now adjourn @
10:45 p.m., to convene again at the next regular meeting scheduled for Tuesday,
August 10th, 2010 at 8:30 a.m.
