Present at the meeting: Mayor William R. Shackel, Councillors Loren H. Nelson, Robert J. Gudnason, Robert G. Jewsbury, Steve R. Bjornson, Chief Administrative Officer Eric C. Plaetinck and Assistant Chief Administrative Officer Darren J. Myers. Prior to the commencement of the meeting, in accordance with Section 101(1) of the Municipal Act, the Mayor and all Councillors each made and subscribed a Declaration of Qualification and Declaration of Office. The Chief Administrative Officer also made and subscribed a Declaration of Office.

Bjornson RESOLVED that the Council of the Village of Glenboro ratify the contracting of Assiniboine Injections Ltd. of Notre Dame, Manitoba for the dredging of biosolids from a 150 x 125 area within the Villages primary cell and the subsequent sub surface land injection of respective sludge, onto the N1/2 of Section 9; Township 7; Range 14 WPM, at and for the quoted / agreed to cost of $ 40,000.00 plus GST. #2006157 L. Nelson R. Gudnason RESOLVED that the Council of the Village of Glenboro ratify the repairs to the sewer line on Miles Street as completed by Towle Construction of Portage, Manitoba at a cost of $10,358.32. "carried"
#2006158 B. Jewsbury L. Nelson RESOLVED that the Council of the Village of Glenboro award a grant in the amount of $25.00 to the Glenboro UCT to assist in offsetting the costs of hosting the Santa Claus Parade of Lights in the Village of Glenboro December 2, 2006. "carried"
#2006159 R. Gudnason B. Jewsbury RESOLVED that the Council of the Village of Glenboro continue to support the "My Community" program, which provides a personalized gift for births, weddings, major wedding anniversaries and to newcomers on behalf of the Village of Glenboro and other participating businesses at a cost of $400.00. "carried"
#2006160 L. Nelson B. Jewsbury RESOLVED that the Council of the Village of Glenboro authorize the payment of fiscal year 2006 accounts from cheque #1274 to and including cheque #1322 and cheque #1325 to and including cheque #1341 amounting to a total of $59,388.34 as fully detailed to Council by the Assistant CAO. Prior to the presentation of resolution #2006-161 and the associated subject, Councillor Loren Nelson, having a personal interest in the matter, withdrew from the Council chambers, not returning until after the vote on said resolution. #2006161 R. Bjornson RESOLVED that the Council of the Village of Glenboro authorize the payment of fiscal year 2006 accounts/cheques #1323 and #1324 amounting to $706.76 as submitted to Council by the Assistant CAO.
