Minutes of a “Special Meeting” of the 2008/2009 Council of the Village of Glenboro held in the Village/Municipal Council Chambers at 618 Railway Avenue, Glenboro, Manitoba on Monday March 23, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. Notice was given in conformity
with Section 151(2) of The Municipal Act. Present at the meeting: Mayor
William R. Shackel, Councillors, Steve R. Bjornson, Robert G. Jewsbury, Chief
Administrative Officer Eric C. Plaetinck and Assistant Chief Administrative
Officer Darren J. Myers. Mayor William R. Shackel, presiding,
called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. The meeting was called to specifically
deal with the following matter: To interview a number of candidates for the Village Seasonal Utilityman position.
Upon conclusion of the interviews and
after due consideration of all candidates, Council passed the following
resolution: RESOLVED that the Council of the
Village of Glenboro appoint Mr. Eric Coleman of Glenboro, Manitoba as Seasonal
Utilityman for the Village of Glenboro effective at the call of the Village
Foreman at a 40-hour work week.
“carried” RESOLVED that the Council of the
Village of Glenboro do now adjourn at 8:08 p.m. to convene again for a special
meeting of Council (Fiscal Year 2009 Budget Meeting) scheduled for Tuesday April
7, 2009 at 7:00 p.m.
