Minutes of a
“Special Meeting” of the 2009/2010 Council of the Village of Glenboro held
in the Village/Municipal Council Chambers at 618 Railway Avenue, Glenboro,
Manitoba on Saturday September 25, 2010 at 9:30 a.m. Notice was given
in conformity with Section 151(2) of The Municipal Act. Present at the
meeting: Councillors Loren H. Nelson, Steve R. Bjornson, Robert G. Jewsbury,
Wayne Davidson and Chief Administrative Officer Eric C. Plaetinck. Regrets Mayor
William R. Shackel. Deputy Mayor
Loren H. Nelson, presiding, called the meeting to order at 9:30 a.m. The meeting was
called to specifically deal with the following matter: To interview
candidates for the Village Seasonal Utilityman position:
Upon conclusion
of the interviews and after due consideration of all candidates, Council passed
the following resolution: RESOLVED that the
Council of the Village of Glenboro appoint Mr. Rob Scott of Glenboro, Manitoba
as Seasonal Utilityman for the Village of Glenboro, with employment to commence
as soon as possible, for agreed upon wages and conditions.

RESOLVED that the
Council of the Village of Glenboro do now adjourn at 11:50 a.m. to convene again
for the next regular meeting of Council scheduled for Tuesday October 12, 2010
at 7:00 p.m. “carried”
