Minutes of a “Special Meeting” of the 2010/2011 Council of the Village of Glenboro held in the Village/Municipal Council Chambers at 618 Railway Avenue, Glenboro, Manitoba on Wednesday April 20, 2011 at 7:30 p.m. Notice was given in conformity
with Section 151(2) of The Municipal Act. Present at the meeting: Mayor Robert
G. Jewsbury, Councillors Loren H. Nelson, Steve R. Bjornson, Jesse K. Janz,
Wayne C. Davidson, Chief Administrative Officer Eric C. Plaetinck and Assistant
Chief Administrative Officer Darren J. Myers. Mayor Robert G. Jewsbury, presiding,
called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. The meeting was called to specifically
deal with the following matters: To discuss issues pertaining to the
secondary cell at the Village Lagoon and a presumed sewer break on Lyall Street,
both of which have been attributed to excessively high moisture levels this
spring.

Nelson – W. Davidson RESOLVED that the Council of the
Village of Glenboro request Disaster Financial Assistance from the Provincial
Government’s Emergency Measures Organization for damages sustained to Village
infrastructure and properties owned by Village residents/ratepayers, caused by
excessive waters/flooding from the spring snow melt in April, 2011.

J. Janz – S. Bjornson RESOLVED that the Council of the
Village of Glenboro do now adjourn at 7:55 p.m. to convene again for the next
regular meeting of Council scheduled for Tuesday May 10th, 2011 at
7:00 p.m.
