Drop off your pennies between 10:00am and 2:00 pm at the theatre, or phone 827-2575 before May 26th if you can't lift them, and we'll come pick them up !

Gaiety Theatre - Beer Bottle Drive - May 26th, 2012

Spring Cleaning? Please think of us if you have beer bottles or cans that need to be taken away.

Bring your beer bottles to the Theatre between 10am - 2 pm, or call 827-2575 before May 25th to arrange pick up.

They can be picked up earlier if need be.

We would greatly appreciate all those coming from out of town to participate also.

will be fundraising with Mom’s Pantry for the month of May. Order forms will be located at the Glenboro Gazette and Glenboro Pharmacy. Each order form will contain an information sheet on how to place your order.

Do you miss your Community Calendar?
The Glenboro Gaiety Theatre is hoping to do one for the upcoming year as another important fundraiser. Due to production increases, the cost would be $15.00 but it would be a flip style instead of a tear away. If you are interested in a 2013 calendar, please email glenborotheatre@yahoo.ca , phone 827-2575 or sign up at the Village of Glenboro Office. Please state the number of calendars you would like. We must have sufficient numbers by May 31st. If we proceed with this project we will also be asking the community to submit pictures of Glenboro and the surrounding area.

Theatre requires new projection system
As of 2013, all filming will have made the change from film to digital recording methods, and all theatres will require this new technology if they wish to continue bringing in new films.

Disaster Relief - IMPORTANT NOTICE

The village of Glenboro and the RM of South Cypress applied for disaster assistance when many basements experienced flooding due to a high water table in the spring of 2011. Whether water entered your basements through cracks in your foundation, or through your sand point hole, this type of ground water seepage is NOT covered by insurance. The matter is currently "under review" by EMO. No reply has been received regarding our requests for meetings with EMO representatives and the Minister in charge. For further information regarding this "Flood 2011" issue, contact the Village/RM office at 827-2252.
